Me, my wife and my dog
Hi, I'm Jaron Lukas!
*formerly Lukasiewicz but you just try to pronounce that...*
I am a serial entrepreneur, startup growth strategist, investor, meditator, YouTuber, dog lover, keto eater, former investment banker, and friend to anyone starting a company.
Maybe you read about last company or saw my YouTube channel.
Even though I've now had my share of success, I grew up from a middle class background and exited college with six-figures in student loans back before it was cool.
Back then, I did not imagine I'd someday be traveling the world speaking at conferences, meeting with world leaders and helping startup founders succeed!
Let me explain.
After college, I managed to get hired by J.P Morgan Investment Bank building complex financial models for oil & gas companies in Houston. Earning six-figures straight out of college was great, but after a few years, I realized that path wasn’t going to fulfill me...
So I started my first company. Which was a huge FAILURE!
I actually spent over $100,000 on that online ticketing startup, taking all the money I had saved since college and throwing it away in a proverbial trash can and lighting it on fire. 🔥
But I quickly pivoted to an industry that was gaining my interest in 2012… blockchain. (Yes I was pretty early.)
And with only $500 left in my bank account - my back against the wall - I was able to secure $500,000 of seed investment for my next startup within 3 months.
Things took off fast after that. My company took me to NYC, where I got to meet everyone from the executives of NASDAQ and Buzzfeed to Prince William and many other influential people.
I was interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, The New York Times, The Financial Times and many more.
We ultimately raised $2 million for that startup, acquired our largest competitor in Canada, and sold it in 2016.
Proof that anyone can leave their job and start a successful company, no matter what your background or current financial position is.
At the same time, I'm not going to lie... I was burned out after that first startup. It was tough growing a company to 50,000 users and I wanted a break.
So I traveled the world on and off, even spending 4 months in Asia.
But because of my track record, companies started inviting me to help them. So I came back. I turned my attention to advising other founders, and through my strategies, their companies reached over $100 million in sales!
Even though my website talks a lot about growth and success, I actually believe happiness comes from within.
I recommend daily meditation and letting go of your ego as key ways to improve your life.
Compassion is important too. These are all things I strive to practice daily.
My belief is that helping others is a fundamental purpose every human has to fulfill.
And my goal on this website is to help you make the world better by creating a company in a positive way!
