Me, my girlfriend and my dog
Hi, I'm Jaron Lukas!
*formerly Lukasiewicz but you just try to pronounce that...*
I am a serial tech entrepreneur, startup growth strategist, investor, meditator, YouTuber, dog lover, former investment banker, and friend to anyone starting a company.
Maybe you read about last company or saw my YouTube channel.
Even though I've now had my share of success, I grew up from a middle class background, exited college with $120,000 in student loans and didn't have a clue that I'd enter the tech world someday.
After college, I managed to get hired by J.P Morgan Investment Bank building complex financial models for oil & gas companies in Houston. Earning six-figures straight out of college was great, but after a few years, I realized that path wasn’t going to fulfill me...
So I started a company. Which was a huge FAILURE!
I actually spent over $100,000 on that first online ticketing startup, taking all the money I had saved since college and throwing it away in a proverbial trash can and lighting it on fire. 🔥
But I quickly pivoted to an industry that was gaining my interest in 2012… blockchain. (Yes I was pretty early.)
And with only $500 left in my bank account - my back against the wall - I was able to secure $500,000 of seed investment for my next startup within 3 months.
Things took off fast after that. My company took me to NYC, where I got to meet everyone from the executives of NASDAQ and Buzzfeed to Prince William and many other influential people.
I was interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, The New York Times, The Financial Times and many more.
We ultimately raised $2 million for that startup, acquired our largest competitor in Canada, and sold it in 2016.
Because of that experience, I gained the belief that anyone can leave their job and start a successful company, no matter what your background or current financial position is.
But I'm not going to lie... I was burned out after that first startup. It was tough growing a company to 50,000 users and I wanted a break.
So I traveled the world on and off, spending 4 months in Asia alone.
But because of my success, companies started inviting me to help them. So I came back. I turned my attention to growth hacking, and through my strategies, my clients have reached over $100 million in sales!
Last year, I started a YouTube channel where I talk about meditation, mindset and entrepreneurship.
I also recently launched The Visionary Show where you and I livestream with venture funded founders who are building the future. My show streams most weekdays at 4:15 PM Pacific.
Subscribe so you don't miss it.
Even though my website talks a lot about growth and success, I actually believe happiness comes from within.
My belief is that helping others is the fundamental purpose every human being has in life.
And my goal is to help you make the world better by creating a company that crushes it!
